Simple, High-Quality & Joyful Study of Dance

What to Wear & Protocols

The primary goal for class clothing, shoes and protocols is to have good tools to make taking class comfortable and safe.

Mindfulness & Movement: leggings and a comfortable well fitted t-shirt are a good choice for this class. Some postures will be inverted so considering a fitted underlayer is beneficial. The class will start barefooted and then for movement shoes will be needed. Close to the foot fitted shoes with a flexible sole are best such as light weight sneakers

Multi-Age Beginning Modern: As with Mindfulness & Movement, leggings and a t-shirt are a good choice. An ideal choice would be a leotard with a pair of shorts or leggings. Hair should be tied up away from the face. Students attending camp, should wear convertible pink tights and a leotard with a pair of shorts.

Beginning/Intermediate Ballet: Ladies should wear a solid color leotard with pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Gentlemen should wear black or navy-blue leggings or bike shores and a fitted t-shirt and white ballet shoes. Hair should be tied up away from the face, ballet buns are preferable.

Protocols: For both indoor and outdoor classes, students will maintain a respectful distance from other students. Masks may be worn at the discretion of the student and/or his/her family. In the indoor studio which is used for ballet and some camp activities, there is a HEPA UV air filter.
